About
For over 20 years, I’ve been offering naseeha to Muslim women, helping them build healthier, more tranquil lives and relationships. If you’re tired of the bad advice and want guidance that is both experience-backed and knowledge-based, you’re in the right place.
Alhamdulillah, I launched this website in 2011 when there were very few online spaces dedicated to Muslim women. What began as sharing my parenting journey soon grew into a global platform for sisters seeking support rooted in Islamic principles, real-life experience, and practical tools.
Who I Am
I’m Zakeeya Ali—wife, mama of six, homemaker, homeschooler, and herbalist. I’m also an author, mentor, and lifelong student of Tibb-e-Nabawi (Prophetic health), naturopathy, and Islamic studies.
My professional background is in psychology, sociology, and education, and I’ve spent two decades studying marriage, relationships, parenting, gender communication, and personal development. In 2011, I was one of the first professional Muslim mentors for women online, alhamdulillah.
My Story
Like many women, I’ve had seasons of struggle—pain, trauma, loss, and anxiety that nearly brought me to the edge of despair. But I am so grateful that Allah SWT guided me through my darkest moments and made me realize that through tawakkul and ibadah, you can heal your wounds and gain inner peace.
Incorporating tahajjud, istikhara, dua, shukr, journaling, wellness, and reconnecting with my feminine fitra, I discovered the sakina that every believer seeks. My struggles didn’t disappear; in fact, some of them intensified. However, I learned to develop a strong heart and certain coping mechanisms to deal with the trials of life.
These lessons—how to return to your innate nature, rebuild your life with tranquility, and strengthen your relationship with Allah SWT, yourself, and those you love—are what I now share with sisters via my mentoring and writing.
My Work
My writing journey began with homeschooling and the need to create Islamic educational resources for my children. With the intention to support other mothers in my shoes, I started publishing these resources, and over the years, this endeavor grew into a full body of work for Muslim women. I have published:
6 adult ebooks
3 paperback books
In 2019, I introduced 25 first-of-their-kind Muslim Journals for spiritual growth, and I continue to design new editions regularly. I also host occasional workshops for sisters when time permits.
The Tranquil Book Series Includes:
Tranquil Muslim Mom (paperback)
Tranquil Muslim Mom Reflection Journal
Tranquil Muslim Wife (currently being published)
Forthcoming titles include Tranquil Muslim Lady, Tranquil Muslima, Tranquil Muslim Homemaker, Tranquil Muslim Teen, and Tranquil Muslim Homeschooler, coming out between 2025-2026, inshallah.
Mentoring For Women
Many sisters describe my naseeha as “life-changing” and “eye-opening,” alhamdulillah. I’ve been mentoring singles, wives, and moms for over 20 years. From hearing so much, I see the destructive patterns and vicious cycles we fall into by living in modern societies and following duniya over deen.

A Final Word
Thus, through offering mentoring sessions, group workshops, and published books, my goal is to help Muslim women live in harmony with their husbands and children and strive with iman, sakina, confidence, and clarity, by the grace and mercy of Almighty Allah.
I leave you with the timeless reminder of Imam Ibn al-Qayyim RA, who said:
“In the heart there is a sense of untidiness which can only be gathered by turning to Allah. In the heart there is a sense of loneliness which can only be removed by coming closer to Allah. In the heart there is fear and anxiety which only leaves by fleeing to Allah. And in the heart there is a sense of regret which can only be removed by being satisfied with Allah.”
Peace Be Upon You,
Your sister in Islam,
Zakeeya Ali
